#2

A few weeks ago I made my first batch of homemade laundry detergent. It was amazingly fabulous!! And tonight I made batch #2.

110508-laundryLast time I used plain castile soap, but with this batch I used lavendar castile soap … and oh my word it smells amazing!  I can’t wait to use it tomorrow!

And speaking of #2, tomorrow starts Trial Day 1 of cloth diapering.

110508-diaper-pinsI’ll let you know how it goes!  And to wrap up an absolutely amazingly gorgeous day, here are a few pictures for your viewing enjoyment…

She wouldn’t stop moving, and the flash on our camera is blinding, so she’s a little blurry!

  1. Yeah, you can, though they can be hard to find. At Kroger they have the Borax and the Washing Soda in the laundry section. The plain castile soap is in the laundry section too but the more expensive scented castile soap is in the natural/organic section with the laundry stuff there. Borax is in a box called “20 Mule Team” and the Washing Soda is “Arm & Hammer”.
